A downdraft that will not rise The lift motor or its track, and cooking grease finds the track a long time before it finds the motor.

A column reporting a sensor code The code names a circuit rather than a part, so which sensor has failed still has to be established by measurement.

An oven door locked after self-clean The latch motor has parked mid-travel. It releases electrically, and forcing it turns a small job into a considerably larger one.

Why the manufacturer matters

JennAir is known for the Rise and Noir design expressions and downdraft ventilation. Those design choices determine how the equipment fails, and therefore the order in which a refrigerator should be examined.

A technician who applies the same routine to every machine will reach the correct part eventually, by replacing the wrong ones first. That approach is expensive, and the customer is the one who pays for it. Knowing the manufacturer shortens the diagnostics to a small number of measurements.

Parts and pricing

We fit genuine JennAir parts wherever they remain available, and the ones that fail most frequently are carried on the van. Where a part for an older model is no longer manufactured, we will say so and set out the options, rather than substituting an equivalent without telling you.

The cost of the part and the cost of the labor are presented to you separately, agreed before work begins, and recorded on the invoice together with the part number. Our labor is warranted for a period of 30 days.
