Commercial diagnostic visits are charged at $135, credited in full against the repair once approved. Commercial appointments take priority in our schedule, since idle equipment represents a direct cost to the business for every hour it is out of use.

30-day parts and labor warranty
The part and the labor are both covered for 30 days, written on the invoice rather than promised at the door.
Insured and EPA-certified
Every technician is insured, and anyone opening a sealed refrigeration system holds EPA Section 608 certification. The certificate number goes on your paperwork.
Background-checked technicians
Everybody who comes to your door has passed a background check and is employed by us, not by a subcontractor.
30 days of warranty on the work
Printed on your invoice rather than promised at the door. If the same problem returns inside that window, we come back at no further charge.
Most of this trade will not publish a price
The convention is to keep quiet about money until somebody is already in your kitchen, which is the moment you have least room to decline. We would rather you had the number at the kitchen table instead, with time to think about it and nobody waiting on an answer.
What the prices on this page are, and are not
Starting prices from real Houston jobs, per problem and per category. Not quotes. What you actually pay depends on the maker, the part and the access that particular machine needs, and it is in writing before a panel comes off.
What moves the price
- Access. A refrigeration column screwed into joinery or a dishwasher fixed under stone is an hour of careful work at each end before a part is touched.
- The maker. La Cornue, Bertazzoni and Miele parts cost more and sometimes come from the importer rather than a warehouse shelf.
- The part. A thermal fuse and a control board take the same half hour and land nowhere near each other on the bill. The biggest single variable here.
- Where it lives. A stacked pair in an upstairs closet or an ice machine boxed into an outdoor surround takes longer to reach and longer to put back square.
The one thing that never changes
The price you approved. Should a second problem turn up behind the first, the tools go down and the phone comes out. You will not discover it at the end on an invoice.
