A technician who applies the same routine to every machine will reach the correct part eventually, by replacing the wrong ones first. That approach is expensive, and the customer is the one who pays for it. Knowing the manufacturer shortens the diagnostics to a small number of measurements.

Parts and pricing

We fit genuine U-Line parts wherever they remain available, and the ones that fail most frequently are carried on the van. Where a part for an older model is no longer manufactured, we will say so and set out the options, rather than substituting an equivalent without telling you.

The cost of the part and the cost of the labor are presented to you separately, agreed before work begins, and recorded on the invoice together with the part number. Our labor is warranted for a period of 30 days.

If the plate has worn, photograph it and send it to us; we can usually read what remains. Once the model is confirmed, the parts known to fail on that exact unit are loaded before the technician leaves our Katy Freeway office.
